Navkar Architects is a Pune architecture studio founded in 1987 by Girish Doshi, an architect heavily influenced by the work of Prof. V.D. Joshi. The studio specialises in residential and institutional projects, with a design language centred on light, authentic materials, pure geometry, and integration with nature.
Girish Doshi has won multiple major Indian architecture awards including AESA Kumar Architect of the Year (1995), the JK Cement Award (1996), and the IIA Architect of the Year (2005). The studio also runs the R.O.A.D forum, established in 2007 to support young architectural talent and interdisciplinary dialogue.
